Speak blessings over your life
In the scriptures, there is a man named Balaam. He was a prophet of God with the power to curse or bless anyone. One day, King Moab wanted to hire him for a special mission to curse God’s people. The king sent many distinguished officials to meet him, offering wealth, power, or anything he wanted, but Balaam refused the job. The king insisted and invited him to his palace. The next day, during a big ceremony, the king was shocked that Balaam blessed God’s people instead of cursing them. Why? Balaam told the king he was powerless to go against the will of God.
Like King Moab, many people will try to speak negative words over your life, telling you why you're not going to get well, not get out of debt, not overcome the challenge, and get you discouraged with negative thoughts. The message to you today is to “Speak blessings over your life” from Numbers 22: 4-18.
In a world filled with negativity and discouragement, it is easy to believe the lies that there is no hope for tomorrow, that you will never meet the right person, or never be successful. Every voice says, "You're stuck. Just accept it, no way in the natural".
The good news is God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. When you speak His blessings over your life, all the forces of darkness cannot stop you. You'll go places you couldn't go on your own. Good breaks will find you. Contracts, opportunities, business, and favors will track you down.
Remember, the words you speak have the power to shape your reality. When you speak blessings over your life, you are aligning your words with the promises of God and declaring His favor and goodness. Speaking blessings over your life means speaking life and abundance into existence or simply declaring and affirming the truth of God's promises.
To do so, repeat throughout the day: “Father, I know your plans for me are good! I have your blessing in my life. Thank you, Lord, for filling me with faith, strength, and determination. Thank you for helping me to trust your unfailing words, to speak victory, and to experience your goodness. I declare it, in Jesus’s name. Amen!
