God is about to restore you
There’s a man in the scripture who is name is Job. Life was not fair to him. He lost his health, his family and business. He had a skin infection with big boils all over his body. The situation got so bad that his wife even told him to curse God and die. To make the matter worst, all his friends said it was his own fault. Job didn’t understand what happens to him. He was so depressed that he sat down among the ashes.
Just like Job, your life might seem going off course, struggle with addictions, health and money problems. It can feel like you're stuck in a never-ending cycle of hardship and pain. The message today is from Isaiah 43:19 that said: God is about to restore you!
In this passage, God speaks to the Israelites through the prophet Isaiah, assuring them that He is about to do something new and extraordinary in their lives. He tells them, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
These words are not just for the Israelites thousands of years ago, but they are also for you. It's a reminder that no matter how difficult your circumstances may seem, God is always at work behind the scenes to restore your health, your marriage and to free you from addiction.
So how do we apply this promise to your lives?
First, hold on to hope. In seasons of struggle, it's easy to lose hope and feel like you're stuck in a hopeless situation. Keep honoring God, keep doing your best, stay faithful in your prayer. Remind yourself that God is faithful and He’ll fulfill His promises of restoration.
Second, keep our eyes open. God tells the Israelites, "Do you not perceive it?" This is a reminder for us to be attentive and watchful for the new thing that God is about to do. Sometimes, we might be so consumed by our struggles that we miss the signs of God's restoration in our lives. Never give up on your dream. God’s favor is in your life and He will make the enemy pays for their wrong doing.
Finally, you need to trust in God's timing. The passage in Isaiah 43:19 reminds us that God will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. This is a powerful picture of God's ability to bring about restoration in the most unlikely of circumstances. Even when it seems impossible, we need to trust that God's timing is perfect, and He will restore your health, your finance, the relationship you’ve been longing for. Nothing is impossible to our God. Keep your hope alive, get in agreement with God, trust his promises. What he did for Job, He can do it for you.
Today I declare you’re going to places you never thought you could be, you’re going to accomplish your dream; new doors are about to open, new opportunities are about to chase you down, in the name of Jesus, Amen!
